The Lot 19 Tram, carrying the World's Kniterati, sets off on a journey to a famous Knitting Festival held on the Mysterious Sleeve-Island.

But the journey will prove perilous!

Betrayal, lust, greed and jealousy! All of this, the true Heart of Darkness, will be channeled through the apparently benign arts of knitting and crochet!

Deadly needles and dangerous hooks!

Will an innocent crafter be stitched up?

Will the wool be pulled over Monsieur Hercule Pulr-Row's eyes?

Will The Belgian Detective (with his hitherto unknown skill as a superlative lace knitter (He is Belgian after all)... be able to untangle the mystery.

Will he know the difference between a German cast on and an Italian Tubular?
